Kepong Baru MRT station is an elevatged mass rapid transit (MRT) station that is built to serve the suburb of Kepong Baru in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur.

The MRT station is one of the stations being built as part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project on the MRT Putrajaya Line.

It started its operations on June 16, 2022 as part of Phase One operations of the MRT Putrajaya Line.


The MRT station is located along Jalan Kepong. And it is just short 250 meters walk from the Buddhist temple called Jing Si Hall, affiliated with the Taiwanese Buddhist order Tzu Chi.


Like the other elevated stations on the line, this MRT station has a Serambi-style design with the Japanese zen designs.

MRT stations of MRT Putrajaya Line
The MRT Putrajaya Line is the second line of the KVMRT Project to be developed after the successful completion of first line —
MRT Kajang Line in July 2017.

The MRT Putrajaya alignment spans a total length of 57.7km, consisting of 44.2km of elevated tracks and 13.5km running through underground tunnels. It has 39 operational stations of which 30 stations are elevated stations and 9 underground stations.
