The Pasar Seni MRT station is an underground MRT station located near Petaling Street, the area more well known as the Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur.

The station was constructed at the site formerly occupied by the Klang Bus Stand, Plaza Wawasan Complex and the UO Shopping Centre.
The MRT station is on the MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang Line and was opened on 17 July 2017 under Phase Two operations of the line.

The station is built with a pedestrian bridge and escalators linking the paid areas of both the MRT and LRT stations, thus allowing commuters to conveniently transfer between the Kelana Jaya line LRT and the MRT Sungai Buloh – Kajang Line.

Location of station
The station is located next to the Jalan Sultan Mohamed bus hub with buses to Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Subang Jaya as well as Go KL city buses.


Pedestrian bridges also link the station with Kuala Lumpur KTM station, which is served by the KTM Komuter and KTM ETS services; Kuala Lumpur General Post Office and the Dayabumi building.

Pasar Seni MRT station has a total of 3 entrances/exits – Entrance A to Jalan Sultan and Entrance B to Jalan Sultan Mohamed, both belong to the MRT station. Entrance C of the MRT station is the given name for the paid-to-paid pedestrian link bridge to the LRT station.
The entrance A accommodates access to the Chinatown / Petaling Street, Jalan Sultan, Jalan Tun H.S. Lee, and Jalan Panggong.

The entrance B accommodates access to Jalan Bandar Traffic Police Headquarters, and Jalan Sultan Mohamed Bus Hub.

The entrance C accommodates access to Concourse level escalator to elevated link.

Connected linkway between MRT and Pasar Seni LRT Station
The underground Pasar Seni MRT Station is linked to elevated Pasar Seni LRT station via a 65 meters paid-to-paid linkway.
The paid-to-paid link is labelled as Entrance C of the MRT station. It however only allows commuters to transfer between the LRT and MRT.
