Mutiara Damansara MRT station is an elevated MRT station serving the suburb of Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. It is within short walking distance to The Curve, IKEA Damansara and Lotus’s Mutiara Damansara.


This MRT station is one of the stations being built as part of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) project on the MRT Kajang Line.

It was opened on 16 December 2016 under Phase One operations of the MRT Kajang Line.







The Mutiara Damansara MRT station is located adjacent to the Mutiara Damansara commercial area where The Curve Shopping Centre, eCurve, Royale Chulan Hotel, IKEA Mutiara Damansara, Tesco Mutiara Damansara and other buildings are located.
It is located above Persiaran Surian, with its supporting columns sited between the Persiaran Surian underpass and the at-grade Petaling Jaya-bound lanes of the road.

It is designed with the platform level on the topmost floor, consisting of two sheltered side platforms along a double tracked line and a single concourse housing ticketing facilities between the ground level and the platform level.
All levels are linked by lifts, stairways and escalators.

The station accommodates convenient access to the Curve Shopping Centre, eCurve, Royale Chulan Hotel, IKEA Mutiara Damansara, and Tesco Mutiara Damansara.
Connection to the eCurve
Mutiara Damansara MRT station has a link bridge connection to the nearby Surian tower that connects to the eCurve shopping facility.




Entrances and exits
Unlike most other elevated stations of the line, the Mutiara Damansara MRT station has four entrances, allowing it to be accessed from both sides of Persiaran Surian, both sides of Jalan PJU 7/1 as well as having a direct pedestrian link with neighbouring commercial buildings.
The entrance A is located at south side of Persiaran Surian. It allows access to feeder bus stop, trunk line bus stop, taxi and private vehicle lay-bys, Dataran Bandar Utama, Persiaran Bukit Utama, and SMK Bandar Utama Damansara 4.

The entrance B is located at east side of Jalan PJU 7/1. It allows access to feeder bus stop, Royale Chulan Hotel main lobby.

The entrance C is located at west side of Jalan PJU 7/1. It allows access to feeder bus stop and Mutiara Damansara.

The entrance D is located at pedestrian link to Surian Link. It allows access to Surian Tower, Royale Chulan Hotel, The Curve, IPC Shopping Centre, and Lotus’s Mutiara Damansara.

MRT stations of MRT Kajang Line
The MRT Kajang Line is the first line of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Project (KVMRT) that began full operations in July 2017.

The MRT Kajang Line spans a total length of 51km and it runs underground for a distance of 9.5km beneath the centre of Kuala Lumpur while the rest of the alignment is elevated. The line has 30 stations of which 7 are underground station and 1 is provisional station (Bukit Kiara).
