The Putra Heights LRT station is the second station after Masjid Jamek LRT station that integrates both the Kelana Jaya and Sri Petaling LRT lines.

Travellers who want an alternate way to get to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and klia2 can opt for an airport shuttle service from the Putra Heights LRT station for only RM10.

The Putra Heights LRT station is part of the LRT Extension Project (LEP) which extended the southern terminus of the Sri Petaling Line LRT and
Kelana Jaya Line LRT from Sri Petaling LRT station and Kelana Jaya LRT station respectively to Putra Heights.

Because of different rail system developed on both lines, the Putra Heights LRT stations and Masjid Jamek LRT stations do not share the same track and use their own individual track instead.
