The Arrival Hall at klia2 is located at Level 2 of the klia2’s Main Terminal Building. It is the final stop for all passengers on Domestic Arrivals and International Arrivals.

At the Arrival Hall, you will go through the immigration check, collect your luggage, shop for duty-free goods, and then clear the customs checkpoint to exit.

The Arrival Hall is located at Level 2 of Main Terminal Building. The Departure Hall is located at Level 3 of the same building, check out the departure process from klia2 airport.
Once you exit the Arrival Hall, you can then go to the attached Gateway@klia2 mall for transportation to the city.
Your flight will be landed at the terminal Pier of the klia2. For Domestic Arrivals, your flight will be landed at Pier J or Pier K.

For International Arrivals, your flight will be landed at Pier P, Pier Q, or Pier L. If you are on a flight transfer, please read this guide on flight transfer.
From the Pier, you will then need to walk some distance to the Arrival Hall for customs clearance and exit of the airport.
Layout plan of Arrival Hall
The Arrival Hall is located at Level 2 of the klia2’s Main Terminal Building. The following is the layout plan for the Arrival Hall at the klia2.
The Arrival Hall is the main venue where you will have your Immigration check for valid entry to Malaysia.

For smooth and quick verification, the passengers are advised to get all the relevant documents ready for checking.

Domestic Arrivals: Passenger flow from Pier J / Pier K
For Domestic Arrivals, your flight will be landed at Domestic Gates at Pier J or Pier K.

Follow the overhead signboard for instructions to go to the Baggage Reclaim area to collect your luggage, if any. After clearing the customs checkpoint, you will then exit the Arrival Hall and go to the attached Gateway@klia2 mall for transportation.

Do your have another flight at klia2? If you are on a flight transfer to next destination, proceed to the respective Transfer Hall to collect your boarding pass and board the next connecting flight.

International Arrivals: Passenger flow from Pier L / Pier P / Pier Q
For International Arrivals, you will be landed at International Gates at Pier L, Pier P, or Pier Q.

If klia2 is your final stop, be prepared for a long walk from the International Gates at Pier P and Pier Q.


After exiting from your flight, you will walk pass the Satellite Building, cross the 600m long Skybridge, go to Arrival Hall for Immigration check and collect your luggage after clearance. Review the arrival process in pictures.
Do your have another flight at klia2? If you are scheduled on a flight transfer, proceed to the respective Transfer Hall to collect your boarding pass and board the next connecting flight.
Once you exit the Arrival Hall, you can then go to the attached Gateway@klia2 mall for transportation. For transportation to city, check out KLIA Ekspres, taxis, and bus services.
Pictorial process of Arrival
Once the flight is landed and parked and passengers are safe to exit, you will be walking on the Aerobridge connected to the Pier. The klia2 has 80 aerobridges servicing 60 gates in the terminal.

The Aerobridge, which ease passengers’ pathways into the aircraft from the terminal, will connect you from the flight to the Pier.

Also, Washrooms and some resting sofa are installed along the Pier for a short break.

The trip to the Arrival Hall involves lots of walking from the Pier to the Satellite Building, then passing the Skybridge, and finally reaching the Arrival Hall.

There are overhead signboards to signal the directions so you can check to make sure you are on the right path.

Sufficient signboards have been installed to guide you to the Arrival Hall.
And walkaltors are installed for your convenience. There are now a total of 42 walkalators around the terminal, covering nearly two kilometres.

The section allocated for International Transfer is available at Level 2 of the Satellite Building.

For flight transfer, please approach the transfer counter to get your boarding pass if you haven’t gotten it.

Once you reached the Satellite Building, the next move is to walk passed the Skybridge to the Arrival Hall.

The whole Skybridge is divided into two sections to allow for full passenger segregation implementation at the terminal. Walkway at Level 3 is allocated for departing passengers and Level 3A is for arriving passengers.

Spanning 300 metres with 60 metres of walkalators, the Skybridge will connect the passenger from Terminal Building to the Satellite Building, allowing passengers to travel between these two points in just over five minutes.

With the installation of walkalators, the Skybridge will connect the passenger from the Satellite Building to Main Terminal Building in just over five minutes.

Escalators and lifts are available at the end of the Skbridge for you to go down to Arrival Hall.

The Arrival Hall is located at Level 2 of the Main Terminal Building. It is where the immigration document check and customs check will take place.

Helpful signboards are present to assist the passengers for easy navigation of the terminal.

The Arrival Hall is the main venue where immigration check for valid entry to Malaysia is performed. Please get all the relevant documents ready for smooth verification and clearance.

If you need a quick transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the counter for help on transfer between klia2 and KLIA is available at the Arrival Hall.

Shops and services at Arrival Hall
The Arrival Hall is located at Level 2 of Sector 2 at the klia2. The entire Sector 2 is allocated for the klia2 Main Terminal Building in which Level 2 is the Arrival Hall and the Level 3 is the Departure Hall.

The duty-free shops are available for your last-minute purchase of souvenirs and duty-free goods.

Upon exiting the immigration check point (for International Arrivals), you will be able to see the huge baggage claim area. There is a monitor above each belt showing the flight served by the carousel.

After you have collected your baggages, you will go through the customs check and exit the terminal.

After you exit the Arrival Hall, you can then go to the attached Gateway@klia2 mall for transportation to the city.

The Gateway@klia2 mall is connected to the Arrival Hall on level 2.
