Skybridge at klia2 is located at the middle section, Sector 4, of the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (klia2).
The following picture shows the position of the Skybridge at the klia2 terminal.

It connects the passengers from Departure Hall at Main Terminal Building to the Satellite Building so that passengers can go to international departure gates at Pier P and Pier Q.

Spanning 300 metres with additional installation of walkalators, the Skybridge will allow passengers to travel from Main Terminal Building to Satellite Building in just over five minutes.

The Skybridge is featured with glass wall that presents passengers the opportunity to enjoy spectacular view of the airside.

Pictorial process from Departure Hall to Skybridge
The beginning point of the Skybridge is located after the immigration document checkpoint and security check counters.

The overhead signboards provide clear directions to the fellow passengers – walk straight to Pier P and Pier Q or turn right to Pier L – so that they know how to get to the right boarding gate.

The passengers will be greeted by the be Duty Free store that carries over 200 brands and 4,000 products across fragrances & cosmetics, skincare, fashion & travel accessories, toys, confectionery, local delicacies and souvenirs categories.

The store comprises four main shopping areas grouped into eight “be” segments, each designed to cater to specific traveller needs.

The be Duty Free store has a futuristic atmosphere, characterised by primer screens that welcome passengers at the main walkway and animated entrance portals that change colours.

The be alluring (fragrances) is made up of popular brands including Calvin Klein, Clinique, Chloe, Davidoff, MAC, Guerlain and Sisley.
And the be indulgent, highlighting premium confectionery brands such as Godiva, Lindt, Neuhaus and Ghirardelli.

The Skybridge links the main terminal building and the Satellite Building at klia2, making it the first airport in Asia with a Skybridge that gives the added advantage of greater aircraft maneuverability while providing a spectacular view of the airside to passengers crossing it.

The whole Skybridge is divided into two sections to allow for full passenger segregation implementation at the terminal. Walkway at Level 3 is allocated for departing passengers and Level 3A is for arriving passengers.

To bring more convenience to passengers, additional walkaltors are installed in stages at klia2. There are now a total of 42 walkalators around the terminal, covering nearly two kilometres.

With the help of walkalators, the walking time of passengers is expected to be shortened by 30% in general.

The Skybridge is purposely built to cross over the taxiway and features glass wall, presenting passengers the opportunity to enjoy spectacular view of the airside.

This iconic metal structure, first Skybridge in Asia, weighs about 3,050 metric tonnes and the cost is about RM997 million.

At the end of the Skybridge is the Satellite Building, you will be greeted with a big hall that showcases a large selection of gifts and souvenirs.
