Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (klia2) comprises of the Main Terminal Building (MTB), Skybridge, Satellite Building, connected Piers (J / K / L / P / Q) and a Gateway@klia2 shopping mall with attached car park facility, plus impressive retail space of 32,000 sqm to accommodate 225 retail outlets.

The klia2 terminal has a built-up area of 257,845 sqm with 68 departure gates, 10 remote stands, 80 aerobridges, includes a retail space of 32,000 sqm to accommodate a total of 220 retail outlets.

The terminal has recently undergone a layout reconfiguration that will ensure that the counters and autogates are placed at the most optimal location and allow for a more comfortable and smoother flow of immigration process for the convenience of passengers.
The klia2 terminal is the largest purpose built terminal optimised for low cost carriers in response to the exponential growth of low cost travel in the region.
The klia2 terminal is measured to be more than 257,000 sqm, with 60 gates, 8 remote stands, 80 aerobridges and built at a cost of approximately RM4 billion.

ARRIVAL HALL
The Arrival Hall is located at Level 2 of klia2 Main Terminal Building and it is the area where people or the incoming passengers will arrive.

The Arrival Hall is also the venue where the Immigrations and Customs check will take place for clearance into Malaysia.

After your flight is landed at the pier, you have to go to the Arrival Hall to complete your immigration and customs checks before exiting the terminal.

Immigration document check and customs check are performed at the Arrival Hall before exiting the klia2 terminal.

If you need a quick transfer to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), then the counter for assistance on transfer between klia2 and KLIA is available at the Arrival Hall.

DEPARTURE HALL
The Departure Hall is located at Level 3 at the klia2 Main Terminal Building.

The Departure Hall is where the passengers will do check-in, drop luggage, and complete Immigrations check to enter the boarding gates.

You can go to the Departure Hall from the connected walkway on Level 3 of the Gateway@klia2 mall.

This Departure Hall at klia2 accommodates check-in and luggage drop counters, waiting area, public concourse, various shops, and security check points for Domestic or International Departures.

At the public concourse, there are 4 islands with a total of 128 check-in and luggage drop counters, identified by alphabets S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z.

From March 15, 2018, all the travelers departing from klia2 are required to use the newly-installed Self-Bag Drop (SBD) facilities.

Toward the end of the concourse at the Departure Hall, you will see the main entrance for International Departures (Pier L, the Pier P or the Pier Q).

The entrance for Domestic Departures (Pier J or Pier K) is located at the left side the Departure Hall.

SKYBRIDGE
The Skybridge links the Main Terminal Building and the Satellite Building at klia2.

Spanning 300 metres with additional installation of walkalators, the Skybridge will connect the passenger from Terminal Building to the Satellite Building, allowing passengers to travel between these two points in just over five minutes.

The Skybridge was purposely built to cross over the taxiway and features glass wall, presenting passengers the opportunity to enjoy spectacular view of the airside.

The whole Skybridge is divided into two sections to allow for full passenger segregation implementation at the terminal. Walkway at Level 3 is allocated for departing passengers and Level 3A is for arriving passengers.

SATELLITE BUILDING
The Satellite Building is located at the end of Skybridge. The Satellite Building has 2 levels.

The Satellite Building has a Transfer Hall in the center to accommodate flight transfer process.

The Level 2 of the Satellite building connects to the International Piers (Pier P & Pier Q).

At the end of the Skybridge, you will reach level 3 of the Satellite building and be greeted with a big hall that showers you with gifts and souvenirs duty free shops.

The Satellite Building has 2 levels and the Level 2 of the Satellite building is connected to the International Piers (Pier P & Pier Q).

All the relevant facilities and services are available at the Satellite Building and you can easily get assistance if needed.
