The klia2 terminal is about 47km driving from the Kuala Lumpur city center to the klia2 airport.
Lots of highways can be used to connect to North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) that leads you to KLIA Expressway through the KLIA Interchange (E608) exit.

Passengers coming from KLIA will drive towards Kuala Lumpur direction then make a U-turn at the flyover just before the Petronas Station and take the slip road to klia2 located on the left.
Driving Guide to klia2 Airport
The klia2 airport is located less than 2km away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). There is an Express Rail Link (ERL) extension being constructed to connect KLIA to klia2. The klia2 is built to accommodates the low-cost carrier and legacy airline passengers together for a seamless transit to any destination worldwide.
The klia2 airport is accessible via many highways:
- North-South Expressway (PLUS)
- Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong (LDP)
- KESAS Highway
- South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE)
- MAJU Expressway (MEX)
- Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE)
- New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE)
All these highways will eventually exit to North South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) that connects you to the KLIA Expressway. And you will then drive on the KLIA Expressway to reach the KLIA/klia2 airports.
Once you are on the KLIA Expressway, just follow the signboards to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). You will pass through the KLIA toll plaza, and continue heading towards KLIA direction.
Before reaching the KLIA, there is a split road on the KLIA Expressway that you will turn left to go to klia2 airport.

From the terminal’s drop-off area or kerbside, passengers will walk through the Gateway@klia2 mall to get to the departure hall for check-in.
The Departure drop-off area is at Level 3, while Arrival pick-up area is at Level 2 of the Gateway@klia2 Mall.
Road Map to klia2
If you are on the ELITE higway, after the KLIA toll plaza, just continue heading towards KLIA direction. Turn left at the split road to go to klia2 airport.
