
The Damansara-Puchong Expressway or Lebuhraya Damansara-Puchong, LDP, is a major expressway in Klang Valley that links major townships in Damansara and Puchong and decreases travel time between these 2 locations.
The Kilometre Zero of the Damansara-Puchong Expressway is located at Sri Damansara Interchange, where it connects with the Federal Route 54 and Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2), Federal Route 28.
The 40km expressway provides better accessibility to these areas via links to other expressways in Klang Valley, such as Federal Highway, Puchong-Sungai Besi Highway, New Pantai Expressway (NPE), Sprint Expressway, Sungai Buloh Highway, and Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2).
This modern intra-urban highway allows motorists to travel in, out and within residential areas and allows for easy access townships like Kepong, Bandar Sri Damansara, Bandar Utama, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Petaling Jaya, Sunway, Subang Jaya, Puchong and Shah Alam.

LDP has 19 interchanges that promote faster and convenient local traffic dispersal.
It completes the Kuala Lumpur Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) at the western part of the Klang Valley which allows motorists to bypass congested city roads.
The LDP not only alleviates congestion in the city but also allows greater capacity on the north-south corridor, stretching 40km from Sri Damansara in the south, connecting Petaling Jaya and Puchong.
Morever, it links motorists to Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and the Hicom-Shah Alam industrial area.

- Traffic Surveillance Control – The Traffic Surveillance Control is a comprehensive traffic management system in operation along LDP – helps to ensure that 24/7 efficient surveillance and updated feedback are evidently received by LITRAK’s Traffic Controller team.

- Lay-Bys and Rest Areas – array of facilities, including food stalls, clean public restrooms, public telephone booths, suraus, parking bays and also petrol stations.
