How to purchase the KLIA Ekspres Ticket + Grab Package and use your Grab Promo Code
1. Buy your KLIA Ekspres ‘Single Trip + GRAB’ or ‘Return Trip + GRAB’ package online through www.KLIAekspres.com, KLIA Ekspres mobile app (IOS / Android) or self-service kiosk.
2. Receive your train ticket and Promo Code.
- Buying through website: You will receive your train e-ticket(s) and Promo Code(s) in two separate PDF attachments via email.
- Buying through self-service kiosk: You will receive two sets of printouts – one set for the train ticket(s) and another for your Promo Code (you will get two Promo Code printouts if you buy a Return Trip package).
- Buying through KLIA Ekspres app: Your Promo Code will appear on the screen and can be saved on your mobile device.
3. When you are ready to use the Grab service, turn on your Grab app.
4. Key in your Pick-up and Drop-off points.
5. Choose your Grab service.
6. IMPORTANT: Tap “Cash” to add or select your credit/debit card (mandatory). No charges will be made to your credit/debit card if the ride is RM10 or less.
7. Key in your Promo Code (one per ride).
8. Tap Book.
9. You will be notified once the booking is successful.
10. If your ride exceeds RM10, the additional fare will be charged to your credit/debit card.
Here’s what you need to know about your Grab Promo Code
- Your Promo Code can be used for a Grab ride to or from KL Sentral Station only. It is not valid for rides to or from KLIA / klia2.
- The Promo Code is worth RM10 each.
- You can top up your ride fare, if required, with credit or debit card using GrabPay facility in the Grab app. If the fare is less than the Promo Code value, there will be no reimbursement of fare difference.
- You can choose any Grab service including GrabCar, GrabTaxi and GrabShare.
- The Promo Code has the same validity as your KLIA Ekspres ticket.
- You can only use the Promo Code once. No date change, refund or revalidation is allowed. A cancelled ride booking nullifies the Promo Code.
- You need to book additional GrabCars if there are more than 4 passengers and/or if you require a bigger boot space for your luggage.
- Toll charges are not included in the ride fare.
