Beginning 1 April 2024, Malaysia Airlines will be deploying its flagship Airbus A350-900 aircraft on both of its daily nonstop services between Kuala Lumpur and Doha.
This includes the deployment of its newly acquired Airbus A350-900 on its second daily service, which boasts a seating capacity of 300 including 40 in Business Class, 32 in Economy Comfort – featuring larger seat pitch and width – and 228 in Economy Class.

Malaysia Airlines’ very first Airbus A330-900neo is finally out of the paint shop! It will then receive its Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines and will be undergoing preparations for its first flight!

During this phase, every cabin system undergoes rigorous testing. This includes detailed inspections of airflow and air conditioning, lighting, galleys, lavatories, seating, and the in-flight entertainment systems.
At the same time, Airbus will carry out advanced general performance tests to confirm that the aircraft meets all required specifications and is prepared for delivery.
Malaysia Airlines is expected to receive its first A330neo in the third quarter of 2024.
